HOW TO MAKE CHEESE – AN EASY RECIPE
Ingredients
  • 2litres milk
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1tsp salt
Recipe Notes
  1. Heat milk in heavy-bottomed pot.
  2. Bring to boil over medium heat. Stir frequently. You want it to reach 188 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Place a colander over a large bowl, and cover it with a thin dish towel.
  4. As soon as it starts to boil, take it off the heat.
  5. Stir in the vinegar. You should notice the curds start to form immediately.
  6. Cover & let sit 10 minutes.
  7. Using a skimming spoon, scoop the curd out and place it on the dish towel.
  8. Lift the edges of the dish towel and cover the curds.
  9. Let it sit there 8 hours. The whey will be collected in the dish below.
