Ingredients
  • 1cup butter
  • 1/2cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 2cups all-purpose flour
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • dash cloves
  • 3cups quick cooking oats
  • 1cup chocolate chips
Recipe Notes
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Beat in your eggs and vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, and then stir into the creamed mixture.
  5. Add oats to the mix.
  6. Cover, and chill dough for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Roll the dough into small balls, and place on cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven.
  9. Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool.
  10. Don’t wait until they’re completely cool. Life is too short.
